Donkeys were domesticated as early as 3000 BC or 4000 BC in either Ancient Egypt or Mesopotamia. Donkeys were domesticated for good reasons. They were good at living in harsh conditions and were good early load carriers before cars and other machines. Today they are still being used as transport in rural areas in Third World countries or Developing Countries and also in certain places like the Greece island called Hydra where cars are outlawed and people use donkeys instead

Mules were already domesticated as they were an offspring of 2 separate species of domesticated animal so they were basically domesticated already they were a combination of a horse and a donkey they had the strength and speed of a horse and endurance of a donkey and were described more patient sure footed and smarter then a donkey

Horses were domesticated for a lot of reasons, mostly for transport and war as they were domesticated as early as ancient Egypt for war as they were used in chariots. They were domesticated as early as 3500 BC and 4000 BC. They were domesticated in Europe as well for transport and meat as well in Viking times some Vikings would eat them for meat but they were also used for war in Viking times. Today horses are used worldwide for entertainment, sport and as pets, Such sports and entertainment are Horse racing, Betting on horse racing, Horse riding, Horse rodeoing and Jousting at Renaissance Fairs, Also in certain parts of the world mostly Europe Horse meat is considered a delicacy.
